I find I need to create structure around my Substack time. When I am writing a piece for my own readers I usually only do that, I don't go down the rabbit hole of glorious Substack pieces from others because I get utterly consumed by the amazing content. I try to give myself 30 -45 minutes most days to read all the publications I subscribe to here and comment on them, then I allow 10-15 minutes on Notes a few times a week. I am mixed about Notes so I try to lead with my heart and gut depending on how its feeling. I find I must be super careful about comparison, I find I am always comparing my work to others and coming out on the bottom so if that's getting to be too much I step away for awhile.

Thank you for the shout out Marilyn💗

And thank you for the response Donna. There's always something about discovering that we're truly not alone that then gives rise to... aha ... perhaps I WILL continue. LOL

I have no doubt you will love reading the Four Agreements Caroline. I go back to the condensed four statements on a regular basis. “ Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take things personally. Don’t make assumptions. Do the best you can.”
